FEY LEAPER
As you turn the page on the book you’ve been reading for the past few hours, you hear a brief thump coming from your left. You quickly turn to the noise and see a bright green portal, the size of a dinner plate, appear out of thin air.
Without even giving you time to react, a small creature leaps through the portal and lands right on top of your coffee table. The leaf-eared rabbit quickly taps its right foreleg about a dozen times before opening its mouth.
“Lizzy”, a male voice is heard coming from the small creature. “I need you to meet me in the the capital in three days. The city needs our help.”
Silence. You stare at the creature as it patiently awaits your response.
“Zac!”, you finally say, getting excited from the idea of meeting up with your old friends. You watch as the rabbit’s leaf-like ears turn towards you. “Nice to hear from you! What’s going on? Are you okay? Why does the city need our help? Do you want me to go-”
Suddently, the creature turns away from you and leaps back into the portal.
“-pick up Bernelle?”, you finish.
Oops. You’d forgotten about the 25-word limit. Well, there has to be some kind of limit to the messages that this magical creature allows your group to send to each other, once a day, no matter the distance between you.
Still, it had been lovely to see Kuri again. And it’d be good to get the group together again.
Apparently you need to go save the world. Again.
